Grenada Map
While Grenada as an independent nation is actually made up of three islands - Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique - the center of the action is most definitely the "Spice Isle" of Grenada. This Grenada map consists of an uneven coastline carved by small inlets and cays, creating the sheltered bays that have made the island so attractive. Soft white beaches abound, especially in the southern half of the Grenada map, where calm and clear waters draw visitors and residents alike. Grand Anse is the best known, a two mile stretch of white sand just south of the capital city of St. George's. The majority of the island's 90,000 residents are concentrated in this portion of the Grenada map, a lively harbor town of colorful colonial structures and lively markets. The interior of the Grenada map is blanketed with thick forest, bursting with flora and fauna and ideal for hikers or nature lovers to explore. Small fishing and spice villages, like Gouyave or Grenville, are dotted across the Grenada map and are charming reminders of the country's economic and cultural base.
